SUZANNE “SUZI” HAMILL

For more than 20 years, Suzanne (Suzi) Hamill has designed and launched companies and digital products impacting how people live day-to-day. Suzi has worked with organizations like The Boston Globe, Fidelity Investments, Amazon, Reuters, and NASA.

Suzi was Head of Design Thinking at Fidelity Investments where she led a community of human centered design & innovation. She directed a team that worked in “startup” style incubators launching companies, products, and services in new markets for Fidelity. Additionally, her team taught human-centered design thinking skills to thousands of employees, customers, and community members around the world.

Suzi has lectured at Stanford University, Boston College, Boston University, Harvard University, Berklee School of Music, Oxford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she has shared her perspective on the relationship between "work" and "play" in creative environments. In 2019 Suzi participated in the U.S. Senate Roundtable in Washington D.C. hosted by Senator Amy Klobuchar (D) and Senator Tim Scott (R). She was one of 20 women from across the U.S. to share her perspective on female entrepreneurship.

In April Suzi and her partners launched Cloth.global. They are joyfully committed to designing a future that is female. They are establishing a global consortium of people who are co-creating a world where women (and all people) thrive.

RACHEL KUENY, MD

Throughout her life, Rachel has blended problem solving, leadership, team building, and coaching, whether on the soccer fields of Stanford University, where she competed at the varsity level and earned her degree in art and design, or in the hospitals of Brooklyn, where her Emergency Room patients often asked for her card.

After Stanford, she went on to work for a fashion start-up in New York, managing all aspects of production and merchandising, traveling the world to do so.  She spent several years cultivating her own business, a design and antiques treasure trove that reinvigorated her Brooklyn neighborhood, earning praise from the New York Times, Time Out New York, the Japanese style magazine Brutus, among others.

Informed by the loss of her close friend during the AIDS epidemic and feeling a need to more meaningfully help people around her, Rachel switched gears--adding to her art and design background with some physics and organic chemistry--and became a doctor, training in Emergency Medicine at a Level I trauma center. There, she and her colleagues taught soldiers heading overseas how to manage wound care on the battlefield.  In the mid-2000s she transitioned to family building and consulting. For many years, Rachel has worked independently with companies large and small, and is still called on for her medical expertise more often than one would think!
